The Sparta Celtic Festival is a FREE, FAMILY FRIENDLY event celebrating Celtic heritage. While many link this heritage to Ireland and Scotland, there are actually seven Celtic nations: Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Cornwall, the Isle of Man, Brittany, and Galicia. The festival's motto, "One Village - Seven Nations," highlights its commitment to honoring the full spectrum of Celtic culture.

 

Held annually on the second Friday and Saturday of August at Roger’s Park in Sparta, Michigan, the festival features music, food, drinks, and vendors, all centered around Celtic themes. Attendees can enjoy lively music and dance performances, Highland Games, historical reenactments, and the presence of Scottish clans.

One of the festival's goals is to support community organizations through partnerships, event exposure, and generous contributions. Most recently, we proudly donated $500 from festival proceeds to the Kent County K-9 Unit.
